When we are about to start a new business, we need to make a market research and try to get as much data as possible.  In order to help our customers, we used to provide starter packages previously.  However, it came with a major problem, the necessity of the items offered in each pack.  So, what was the solution for it ?

Now, we have the answer and have developed two separate tools written in Excel, a very precious software from the MS Office Suite.  Based on true statistical market data obtained from the refill department of MIS Computer, they will help you evaluate the feasibility of entering cartridge refilling business and display a list of required equipment and supplies in detail.  Furthermore, they will also give the unit and total cost and ROI (Return-on-investment) information instantly.

Working with the tools is very simple and easy, indeed.  It is just like 1-2-3.  In this newsletter, we will review the tools separately.

MIS Project Tool for Toner Refilling

Unlike ink refilling, because of the variety of the supplies in the market, toner refilling requires a more careful research prior to stepping into your shop.  To ease this initial and crucial process, MIS Project Tool for Toner Refilling will ask you some questions grouped under three steps.

In the first step, you should answer three questions about your project.  The answers to these questions will outline the following;

a.) The initial stock level to start your business
b.) Projected monthly refill quantity
c.) The business days in a month

and reach to total quantity of the cartridges in your project.

In the second step, it will prompt you to choose the toner workstation and enter the quantity according to how big your project is.

And in the last step, you will choose which brands are popular in your market by writing “Y” under each brand to say “YES”.  This step is very crucial as the market share is not the same for each brand all around the world.

As you finish these 3 steps, it will give you a brief of your project as seen below.  You can see the cost of the machine and the supplies and the project revenue and profit figures along with the number of the cartridges to be refilled.
